JULY 28, 2007 - THE COMMISSIONER'S DESK. Hal Newhauser of the D-Town Destroyers threw a perfect game against the hapless Kent Kneeknockers. With the loss, the disabled Knees fell to 14-56 on the road, while the Destroyers improved to 44-31 at Navin Field. A perfect game against the league's weakest team certainly didn't depress the cagey Newhauser, who remarked, "a perfect game is like miracle no matter who the opponent is." However, Newhauser did express some disappointment that only 10,507 Destroyer fans were on hand to witness his 4 - 0 gem.
