Playoff Seeding, Tie Breakers, Home Field Advantage


 

Seeding and Series Determinations

6 playoff teams are seeded in their respective leagues as follows (3 per each league): No. 1-Division Winner with best record, No. 2-Division Winner with 2nd best record, No. 3-Wild Card team (non-Division winner with best record in its league).  Highest seeds get home field advantage.  

 

The play offs are played in three rounds: 

 

 

Unit Rewards

Round One Losers get 20 units, Round Two Losers get 40 units, the World Series Loser gets 60 units, the World Series winner gets 80 units.

 

Tie Breaks 

For byes, division titles, and wild card berths, ties are broken by examining the following records in sequence:

 

 

If the final pair of teams in the championship series have idenitical season records, the tie is broken by exmamining the following records in sequence:
