Sign Players to Contracts
More information about contracts
After the three draft iterations are over, you need to decide which players you've drafted will remain on your roster and sign them to contracts. See the Contract Reference Table for important details pertaining to different contract types.
Warning: It's essential that you submit your player contracts before the signing deadline; otherwise, the computer will drop your non-contracted players from the roster.
How to sign your players

- When you select a player to sign, a Salary Grid will appear displaying the total seasons that player is available and the annual costs for each contract type per season. For original signings you must select a contract type (1, 2, or 3) and the total seasons that player will be signed to that contract. Contract extensions are always for one season only.
- Note the other contract options while you're here: renegotiations, buyouts, and waiver releases. Renegotiations and buyouts are possible only if you've earned rights by advancing in owner class. Waiver releases are tied to contract type.
- Player contracts are final and cannot be changed after the league has processed all the roster changes from the league owners. If you do change your mind after you've submitted your changes, you can reload the "Latest Packet", which will overwrite all your changes you made, then repeat the process for each of your players.
